Tony Gulotta is Senior Vice President, Business Financing for Canada since 2018.

In this role, Mr. Gulotta provides leadership in support of the business development, sales strategies and credit management for the Quebec and Ontario teams. He joined Fiera Private Lending in 2017 at the inception of the company in Ontario where he held the position of Vice President and Group Lead, Business and Real Estate Financing for the Toronto office. With his broad experience and expertise in financing, risk management, business development and sales management, he contributes to the success of the fund’s growth across Canada.

Mr. Gulotta has over 35 years of mixed real estate (ICI) and commercial financing experience. Prior to joining Fiera Private Lending, he managed a territory composed of $2.5 billion in deposits and loans in Eastern Ontario with CIBC. Subsequently with HSBC, he was responsible for managing a commercial and real estate banking team in Toronto. Over his career, he has had experience in managing a real estate portfolio of over $400 million for First City Trust throughout Quebec and the Maritimes.

Tony Gulotta holds a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University as well as FICB, CFP and PFP designations.

Dino Fracassi joined the Business Financing team in June 2017.

Mr. Fracassi has over 20 years lending experience, covering a wide range of businesses from small private companies to large publicly traded corporations. In his most recent role, he was a key contributor to Scotiabank’s Toronto-GTA Structured Commercial Banking team where he managed a loan book of over $500 million of assets. Prior to this role, Mr. Fracassi worked at HSBC Bank Canada where he led a commercial banking team and helped establish a leverage finance team. The leverage finance team worked closely with private equity sponsors by providing leveraged credit facilities in support of sponsor backed M&A activity. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fracassi held credit adjudication roles at Credit Suisse Canada and Scotiabank-Global Risk Management.

Dino Fracassi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ryerson University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Toronto.

With more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, mostly in business financing and international trade, Daniel Patenaude recently joined the Fiera Private Lending team.

An experienced business industry leader, Mr. Patenaude has held several strategic positions, helping bring a number of complex projects to fruition during his career. He has also led teams of account managers, cash management specialists and financial analysts. Mr. Patenaude also headed the National Bank’s Corporate Financing Group, leading a team of major accounts financing professionals responsible for mergers & acquisitions for Quebec.

Holding an MBA in international trade and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specialized in finance from HEC Montréal, Daniel Patenaude has an important network of business contacts.

Mauro Spagnolo joined the Fiera Private Lending team in May 2017.

Mr. Spagnolo brings 30 years of financial leadership experience to the Fiera Private Lending team. He has successfully established and led origination teams, including the development and execution of business plans and marketing strategies at both CIBC and Royal Bank. Prior to joining Fiera Private Lending, Mr. Spagnolo ran the Canadian operations of Fifth Third Bank, a U.S. regional banking corporation, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, for five years. He consistently leverages his extensive analytical, corporate finance, trade, tax and international experience. He has been recognized for his ability to originate new business, build motivated teams, achieve objectives, develop and execute growth strategies.

Mauro Spagnolo obtained his MBA from Ivey Business School and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a holder of the ICD.D designation.
